I've been skeptical over these in the past, but they are really promising when you read up on them. They open up some cool options.

I might use one for my Squier since it is my least played guitar, and it needs a tone makeover.

I just ordered one. As soon as it is installed, I'll report.

I installed it, and my immediate observations was stunning. Tone on top of tone. Very quiet, and silky smooth volume and tone controls

I installed it with a set of Joe barden SSS pickups. Before the installation, I contacted Frank at Joe Barden, and he was very helpful, and offered recommendations.

There is no soldering at all with this unit. Pickup and ground connections, are accomplished with push locks.
With this unit it is possible to set up an amazing number of pickup as well as tone capaciter configurations. This is facilitated by a series of dip swithches.

One of the down sides with my installation, is that I have a pick guard front mount, and would have to remove the strings and pickguard, if I elected to make a change. This product would really shine, with a rear access entry. That way, you could make tonal changes with cap values, as well as pickup config, in seconds by changing dip switches.

This is shaping up to be some fine product. Well worth the money, and worth a try

Cool!
So which configuration did you set it to?

I set it up to 47 fu cap value on both tones, with the volume cap. The P/U controls are standard strat for now. All it takes to change it is the dip switches.
