New KWS Band

The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band has a new album "How I Go" out as of Tuesday. Here's the video for the first single.

I've always admired KWS's playing even if he is a very obvious SRV disciple. My concerns with getting this album are twofold: 1) I bought "Live On," listened to it once, and put it back on the shelf where it remains and 2) Noah Hunt's voice I can only seem to take in limited doses. I listened to the clips and liked a lot of what I heard. We'll see. Here's a Fender interview:

This looks like a good return to the blues for KWS.
I'd highly recommend "Live! In Chicago" since you enjoyed the "10 Days Out" DVD.

I've already listened to bits of this and the Beatles song "Yer Blues" is actually done pretty nicely. It's different but still good and not pretentious.
