... running a 33:49 10K race!

I am mentioned here
http://www.edmontonjournal.com/sports/Kenyan+shatters+record/5287669/story.html

It was awfully hot, but this is still my fastest 10K race in over 10 years.

I have another 10K race in 2 weeks in Calgary. If I do well there, I will probably win the whole road race series, in which case I will earn $1,000 for being first. That money will then be used for a trip to Toronto, where I will run the Canadian 10K Road Race Championships. That's on September 24.

If we have any people in Toronto wanting to hook up then, let me know!

At the end of November, I will run cross country nationals in Vancouver. Don, let's hook up then for beer and guitarz! Deal?

For sure! And since you like Sushi, I'll take you to Miku (http://mikurestaurant.com/) my favourite restaurant in all of Vancouver.

Awesome! Closest I ever came to that mark was about 35 min. And I was in either my late 20s or early 30s. That's a dang good mark for a 40 something! And the overall results are even more impressive. I hope you bring home the series win!!

Great to hear Master and Commander. I just have a hard time fathoming doing any sort of distance without a bicycle. My hat is off to you sir. Godspeed and good luck.
