Has anyone heard whether BOSS is replacing the RC-50 Loop Station? All of the major retailers list it as either discontinued or no longer available. I was thinking of purchasing an RC-50, but if it has been obsoleted by another model with greater memory and more features, I'm holding off and I'll get the replacement.

Hi JC,

I think the RC-2 and RC-20XL have recently been replaced by the RC-3 and RC-30, respectively. So while I haven't necessarily heard of a new version of the RC-50, it would seem to make sense that a newer model of that is coming out. If I hear anything about it, I'll let you know.

Thanks Eric****!!! I am seriously hoping they announce it soon. I am up in the air over whatever replaces the RC-50 and a JamMan Stereo Phrase Looper. It may turn out that I go for the JamMan, as it will be not only be cost effective, but of high quality. The reviews I have seen for the JamMan have all been 5 star reviews, and they are plentiful.
