What were you thinking? :nono:

Probably not what you expected, eh?

I and the family are off to the mountains for a few days to go climbing and to get away from the hectic, uh, wait, we don't have any hectic around here. Never mind. We are just going to get away and enjoy being high...in the mountains. Whatever!

If you click on the link it should show a nice picture of the location in the Pioneer mountains east of Sun Valley, Idaho.

Nice Spud! That will be a great trip. I remember well you and I scouting it out a bit from afar on our way to biking last year.

Could be smoky out there. It is a bit here, due to this fire, and where you are going is between here and there. They are letting some of these burn in the beetle kill areas and areas that have not had fire in about a hundred years, so I don't expect the smoke to fully clear until the snow flies. Best we can hope for is a good wind heading northeast to blow it out of here up to montana/wyoming. I hope the winds blow favorably for you!

It was a great trip and not too smoky. I'll get some photos up late today. It's a pretty amazing place and my climb was way off the hook insane. Lots of fish too but we didn't have time for that.
