Here's a little background on the Nolatone 1X12combo, now outfitted with the WGS Reaper 30 speaker.
Been playing the heck out of it, and the speaker is breaking in nicely!
Described as WGS' take on a 70th Anniversary G12H30, the Reaper 30 speaker seems very well balanced, with plenty of mids.
The amp really sings, and does blues & rock really well. I'll shoot for some cleans in the next clip.
Amp builder Paul Sanders described the RJ this way--" I took a beefed up Tweed Deluxe type output section and mated it to a scaled back version of the new Black Tooth overdrive channel..."
