This little beauty came in as a trade-in at my local music store. After a week or so of drooling over it, I gathered up a cheaper Washburn WI-24 I had recently acquired and a couple other unused items and did some horse-trading. Straight up trade!

The build quality of this thing is fantastic and it sounds GREAT through a tube amp!!! Rich and ballsy, but a bit of jangle... maybe reminiscent of a Rickenbacker? P'ups clean up nicely when the volume is rolled back almost no change in volume.

I'll try to get some pics up, but in the meantime here's a link to the website. If you see Highland guitars in your area, they are worth checking out.

That is one hot guitar! Congrats, and HNGD! They have some nice looking guitars, those Highland folks. I like their solid body double cuts. I'll have to look for one to try out.

Hey Kat, I'm rockin' a Traynor YCV80 (http://www.traynoramps.com/products.asp?id=170&cat=63&type=3) these days :rockya This guitar is actually surprising me. I must admit I was initially drawn to it's killer looks, but the more I play it, the more I'm falling in love with the feel and the TONE! I kind of expected it to be more "show" and less "go", but this is one kick *** axe!!
