What the hell is wrong with these guys. No Rush or Deep Purple again. A seriously sad organization.

As a long-time Rush fan, I'm actually happy that their name isn't associated that bad joke called the HOF.

+1!

I've decided not to pick apart or analyze the list. Life is just too short to waste the time each year!

War? Srsly? The band with the low rider song (and as far as I know, that's it), and no Rush?

War offered a whole lot more than that one stupid overplayed song. They were an integral part of the 70s funk scene.
There's little point comparing their worthiness with Rush who play an entirely different style of music.

Wow. I guess I'll have to educate myself a little bit, then.

No Kiss either. Eddie Trunk was going off on this on Twitter. I agree with Kat though. There's no reason why the vary majority of those bands should go in before Kiss, Rush, etc.

I know there's not an ice cube's chance that any of the great metal bands will ever go in, e.g. Priest, Maiden.

I gave up on them back when Metallica played "One" for the TV show and then they gave the best hard rock(heavy metal..??) award to Jethro Tull and his crappy flute song lol! That was just BS so I quit even paying attention to it.

The albums All Day Music and The World Is a Ghetto are funk classics and if you really want to hear what this band could do check out War Live.

I was going to post something on this topic, but all I can think of really is that I disagree with the HoF's opinion on this matter, and that the organization has become irrelevant to me.

Um, that was the Grammy Awards and not the Hall of Fame.:)

You're a bass player and a fan of the funk, I suspect you'll be pleased. :)
