I had the chance to get my hand on a mint Martin J-41 Special jumbo guitar recently. I am really happy by the way it sounds the tone is rich and well balanced, no boomy bass and nice midrange definition. The guitar is gorgeous and very easy to play.

Here is a little presentation of this beauty, The guitar is tuned in DADACD

I love that Martin sound, and the jumbo size is a fun shape. Sounds beautiful in your hands. :AOK

Thanks for the nice comment, The guitar is in fact quite comfortable it's not a big jumbo and the V profile neck is really nice to play. I guess in few years the sound will evolve very nicely and open up even more (that's what happen to my Martin D1 previously)

In addition, you have inspired me to play with the DADACD tuning on my acoustic.
