I just caught the first part of the Martin Scorsese movie about George Harrison. It's now showing in 2 parts on HBO. It looks like it will be showing for the next week at least. Watching it sure brings back a lot of memories. Pretty heavy man. :socool

Shoot. We don't get HBO. Maybe it will be available via On Demand.

I usually don't buy these kinds of magazines, but couldn't pass this one up today.

Last night I hung out and played some music with my best friend. He also gave me a belated birthday present, the beautiful hardcover book that was released in conjunction with the documentary. All of the information about George is stuff I can read over and over again but what makes it my new favorite book is the treasure trove of photos from all phases of George's life. I couldn't be happier.

OK, I finally watched it, and wow... Very well done. It isn't just some fan based view, but an in depth look into George's life and experiences. You have to see it to get what I mean.

I took a screen shot of New Musical Express' chart for Feb. 6, 1972, showing All Things Must Pass at number 1.
Looking at the rest of the chart is interesting (singles in the left column, albums in the right).
