Hmm. Maybe Dunlop should file suit (http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/m104-distortion) against both DVM and T Rex.

(yes, I know it's an overdrive and not a distortion. But it's close enough.)

Actually, DVM's is an overdrive too so the Boss counts.
