I was in the studio yesterday for like 9 hours with Crash Pad. To apply teh rule of teh intranets to myself, pics are below. It was at Goldentone Studio, with my scene acquaintance of 20+ years proprietor Rob McGregor engineering/co-producing/slidertwiddling.

A friend of a friend actually bankrolled it. I hope he someday gets his dosh back, if he can manage to make any money at all. He seems to think our song "Pink Slip Rick" (nickname of our Teaparty Governor) could become a favorite song for political-type purposes given the prevailing Progressive backlash in the country.

Am not holding my breath. ;)

We did the base tracks for 4 songs (iirc). Going back in a few days to do vox and a few additional instrument tracks.

Awesome! Great pics as usual.

Is that an old Silvertone with the Bigsby? I'm digging that guitar, and the Marshall cab behind it.

Exactly what Kat said.... Cool Pics and loving the look of that basket-weave Marshall cab (and whatever sits atop it......), that Bigsby equipped hollow, and who doesn't love a Thunderbird!

Your bass player needs to stop smoking plectrums though, that just aint healthy ;)

Yeah, that's the studio's (Rob's). Same goes for the rig in the background. Atop the 4x12 is a Fender head (Bassman maybe, or Bandmaster?) and an old Sears (forgot the brand) tube head. As shallow as that top head is, I thought for sure it was solid state, but I sneaked a peek and it was a tube head.

In other news, I just noticed I'd forgotten to include the pic of the drummer, Bruce. My bad.

Thanks the T-bird is mine. He's working on buying his own, a silverburst. Both Epi's.

His plectrum habit has gotten bad. We've taken to calling him "CranK" Schrank (the latter being his last name).
