Came across this track and liked it as it has sort of a new orleans feel about it. Here's my take with a 339. BT next door. Enjoy, comments always welcome.

Nice job with a fun-sounding track, and I thought the slide work fit perfectly.

Good vamp with the slide running all around. Very Kirk L'Orange-ish....that's a supreme compliment. Standard tuning or Open??

Too much of a compliment but appreciated very much. It's all standard tuning, all lead on the same track in a take. I love open D, G and E, but it's not practical with the band, so I keep to standard which means I just need a couple of guitars for live gigs. With my limited capacity trying to stick with the rig at home I use playing out, trying to get better at using both slide, single note and rhythm in the same tune. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.

Mucho thanks Spud, OG and Blaze. Feedback appreciated. Blaze, if I recall, this doesn't approach your slide playing, but we keep working at it. Hopefully others will have their take on the BT.

Sounds really good and groovy Helliott, the guitar sounds nice with this crunchy edge and good chops, love when you sling along with the horn lines :rockya

Thank you, Jipes. I do like tracks where there's a horn line or something that I can play around. Makes it a bit more vocal and adds some structure to what might otherwise be a complete noodle. Appreciate the comments.
