Played with my instructor today at a Christmas Bazaar. My 9 year old played too. He did the melody of jingle bells and really nailed it. I had just launched 80 kids into their first day of skiing in the program I run, and I played less well. But what the heck. My boy was great and we did it. :D

Whoa Steve! That's great. It's good to work out the nerves in front of a live audience. I'm sure that the more you do that the more comfortable you will become.

Awesome, man! Playing live in front of other people is a thrill only other musicians can understand. Don't worry about the nerves, they'll go away after you play more. Don't worry about mistakes. If some one says something, just tell 'em you were improvising.;) :D
