Another example of SX goodness. My 2nd SX bass, the other was a short scale (long gone when I bailed on short scales).
This is the Ursa 2 5'er - $179, $224 with a very nice gig bag delivered. And shipped via FedEx, so Saturday delivery!! :hyper:
This bass is freakin' unbelievable for the price. It looks GREAT, there's a nice thin coating on the neck, string spacing is a bit tight compared to other 5-strings I have but for a Jazz bass it's just right and the neck is the right size too. Not Ibanez thin, no where near p-bass thick.
The surprise for me was the electronics - GREAT sounding pickups, pots that are solid, move smoothly and are not loose. The tone - man, this bass sounds WAY better than the Squier VM Jazz basses I played earlier this week at GC.
I've you've been on the fence about this bass, don't hesitate. It's a freakin' STEAL.
No two ways about it - this bass was an AWESOME deal.
