This was taken with my iPhone, using Photosynth, a panorama app. The stitching isn't perfect, and the details aren't great, but this is the first time I've ever had them all lined up like this:

That red one in the foreground has a weird neck on it.

So, I take it you like a single cut with humbuckers?

Looks that way, doesn't it? ;)

That's a good looking family.

So how is the Epiphone compared to the Agile LPs? I've got 1 Epi that is lighter than my Agile but another Epi that weighs about the same as the Agile, a ton. My Agile has a fairly substantial neck on it but my mid 90s Epi has a fairly thin neck. How do all of yours compare?

Yeah, that seems to indicate that you are a fan of Les Paul-ish guitars. Looks good though.

When I first got the Epi and the Agile AL-3000 (I got them within a month of each other, iirc), I posted a comparison thread (http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php/14786-Epiphone-Tribute-Les-Paul-vs.-Agile-AL3000-in-a-battle-royale?highlight=). I'd say that the AL-3000 had better QC than the Epi, but the 57 Classic pickups sound so damn good, I forget about the little finish flaws in the Epi. I've had a total of four different sets of pickups in the Agile, and settled on some overwound Alnicos that I did a magnet swap in (A4 bridge, A2 neck). I'm very fond of that guitar. The Gladiator has a beefy neck, but for some reason it's very comfortable to play. My Agile AL-2K has the standard neck, and the AL-3K has the thin neck. There's really not much of a difference to me. My Epi has the 60s profile neck, so it's pretty thin and fast. I like them all for different reasons, and they all get some play. The Flamekat hasn't had much love lately, but I think I'll get those flatwounds on her and see how I like them. If I were forced to give one up, I guess it would have to be the Flamekat, just because it's the one that gets the least playing time.

It seems to be a trait that runs in the family. It's my definite preference too.

It's always a treat to visit Sean and get my grubby hands on all his guitars. I really dig that Gladiator with its fat neck.

My favorite by far though is his AL2K. I doubt many of them came out that nice off the assembly line.

True, dat. That one is extra special.

Sean, I was certainly impressed with all of your gear when I was there......well, except maybe for the Flamekat, which is a bit flashy for my taste. I was glad to finally get my hands on an Agile after having read so many good things about them, which I now know is deserved.
