I've been buying movie DVDs from this pawn shop for months. I paid 99 cents to 199 cents for the DVDs. They have higher priced ones but I wait for them to come down. I've been visiting the shop almost every day as they restock frequently.

Looks like people's going to HD and Blu-Ray DVDs and dumping tons of old DVDs. I love movies and I hate TV so this is a goldmine for me. I buy them that has the SDH (subtitles) on them so I got some I've seen and some I haven't. I'm hearing impaired so now I can get the stories I've missed.

Happy days. :dance

By the way, the cases were taking up room so I put all the DVD on spindles and tossed the cases away. Got 'em cataloged too. :socool

You know what's even cheaper? Checking them out at a library! :)

I have many used DVD's from local pawn shops as well. They are a great buy.

I've never bought a movie in my life because it's very rare that I have any desire to see one a second time. But for someone who loves movies, 500+ titles must be great. Are you collecting microwave popcorn and Raisinets, too? Enjoy!

How do you store 500+ DVD's, more to a point how it would take you 2yrs to watch them !!!. Over the past few years I have been ripping DVD's to Divx or Mkv format and sticking them on my media PC. If i need to choose a film I just scroll down the menu and choose.

They're stored in spindles. Less room that way.

Also they're in alphabetical order and cataloged on my PC. :)
