Charvel Desolation™ DST-1 FR (http://www.charvel.com/guitars//search.php?partno=2931411503)
This looks awesome! Charvel has several different models (http://www.charvel.com/guitars/?section=desolation&bodyShape=Star). I don't have a single guitar with the Floyd Rose and I have been looking for this style of guitar.. :dude

Two classic Charvel body shapes return in sleekly modern Desolation series form with the introduction of new Desolation Star DST and Soloist DX guitars. With a variety of features and finishes prized by discerning players everywhere, both deadly models deliver the devastating tone, killer looks and high-performance playability that separate the Desolation series from all others.

The Desolation Star DST-1 FR features the return of Charvel’s classic Star body profile, with features including a through-body maple neck, compound radius (12”-16”) rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and Charvel “shark tooth” inlays, EMG® 85 (neck) and 81 (bridge) humbucking pickups with black bezels and three-way toggle switching, single domed metal volume control knob, Floyd Rose® locking tremolo, sealed die-cast tuners and black nickel hardware. Available in Black and Snow White gloss finishes with matching headstock; flame maple-top models also available with multi-ply binding (body, neck and headstock) in Trans Red, Trans Black and Trans Blue Smear gloss finishes with matching headstock.

The Soloist is awesome too, but I really like that Star body profile.

Awesome! Stars and Soloists. I've wanted to try one of those Desolation models, particularly the Les Paul copy, but I haven't seen them anywhere.

You'll have someone's eye out with that headstock :)

*scampers off to Charvel website*

Holy crap! That star is awesome! The Soloist looks cool, too. I still dig pointy guitars. I had an old import Charvel for a long time, and it was my best playing guitar, hands down. It was also the lowest in price.

And yep, markb, pointy headstocks not only look cool, but are a useful deterrent against miscreants, scoundrels, and fans of Englebert Humperdinck music. ;)

Yep I have also been eyeing the Desolation series...the original ones seem like just what I like.

Really dig the star shape too, but those type shapes tend to feel a bit too large for me, plus I don't need a Floyd.

I wonder what would have happened if Keith Richards had been playing a pointy guitar instead of a tele when that guy rushed on stage...
