I have a typical Dunlop CryBaby but I am not at all satisfied with its frequency response and its sound in general.
I was thinking of buying a VOX Clyde McCoy Wah.
I want a clean wah sound with smooth frequency sweep.
Has anyone tried the McCoy?

The Fulltone Wah is the best of the best from what I hear. Kind of pricey though.
I've had or still have Crybaby, Jimi Hendrix, 535, vintage Thomas Organ wahs and I keep going back to the Thomas Organ Crybaby. Just some info for you.

Question? Since everyone speaks of changing pot and caps in a guitar, can the pot in a Wah be changed out to obtain a better frequency response or tone?
If the answer is yes, it maybe the cheaper way to go!

I have already changed the original inductor of the Cry Baby to a Fasel, but the change was subtle...
Maybe I will have to change the pot to, or maybe 1-2 resistors in order to obtain a better frequency response...
