Well it's that time of year again - the time when the gov't returns the money they over-collected from my paycheck for my "fair share" :)
I've used it well - here's a few goodies that have been had as I do my part to stimulate the economy:
Ibanez Artcore AF-75, just an awesome guitar with decent pickups and nice clean hollow body tone:

Next up is my personal favorite of the bunch - a Schecter Solo-6 Custom. Pics can't do this one justice. Beautiful guitar with a tummy cut, lightweight, single cut styling with ebony fretboard, awesome inlays, locking tuners and Seymour Duncan pickups. Off the charts sweet guitar and pleasure to play:

And last but not least for the guitars - a surpise! A Douglas SG-type. I was surprised to find out that I like fat necks! When I picked this baby up I could not miss a note. I had a SD Distortion pickup laying around so I dropped that in the bridge and this thing is a player! VERY surprised for a cheapie:

On the amp side, I picked up a Marshall AVT50 - 12AX7 in the preamp for a bit of tube tone and nice overdrive.

Then for a little fun when I'm not playing all these beauties, a 1993 Honda Nighthawk 750 in AWESOME condition! Been a couple of years since I've ridden, wrecked a bike back in 2007 and never really got comfortable to ride again. But this year I've really had the bug and I've always wanted a Nighthawk - love the standard riding position, and it's 750 with a lot of heft for stability. GREAT buy, just need some warmer weather :)

And I still have some $$$ left over - this time of the year may be more fun that Christmas! :)
