Time to begin the first of many TheFret.Net forum games!

You have to think of a musician who is in some way associated with the musician posted by the previous person. Please explain yourself even if its obvious.

I'll do the first couple to make sure everyone understands the game's concept.

Paul McCartney
John Lennon

Reason: Play in some band together... must not have been too popular I can't remember it.

John Lennon
Elton John

Reason: Elton John was featured on Lennon's "Whatever Gets You Thru the Night"

So whoever is next has to associate a musician with Elton John. Good Luck :)

Sonny Landreth

Reason: Landreth has been John's guitar player on several albums. If you haven't heard Sonny, check him out - he is THE monster slide player, and his sound is to die for.

Ok, eating lunch and reviving an old fret game thread.

Sonny Landreth
Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton said Sonny Landreth is "probably the most underestimated musician on the planet and also probably one of the most advanced."

Play on!
