WE ARE SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE that the Town of Black Diamond’s video submission to the “Small Town Saturday Night” contest is in the TOP 10!!!!

NOW, WE NEED YOUR HELP TO WIN THIS!

We are facing a David and Goliath situation in this competition! As a very small Town we don’t have nearly as big a population as several of our competitors, and the winner of this contest is simply the Town that garners the most votes.

As such, we need you, your friends, family and distant acquaintances, etc. to vote online DAILY from now till 11:59pm on March 20, 2012.

Please forward this email to everyone you know and ask them to vote!

Then, if we, Black Diamond, generate the most votes, we will win this amazing Alberta concert, to be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012. As an added bonus, we, and you by your vote, will be helping youth by giving the prize winnings to the amazing non-profit organization, the Diamond Valley Boys and Girls Club!!! The Winner will be announced on April 3, 2012.

I have been go Black Diamond many times - a really little cowboy town!

Big Valley Jamboree happens right here in Camrose where I live!

My wife works in the retirement/insurance industry so travels all over Canada to visit her participants. One of them asked her to help out so I thought I'd spread the word.

I really want to see the Big Valley Jamboree (and the Calgary Stampede) sometime soon. Canada has so many cool little towns and events.

I just saw that the Big Valley Jamboree (http://www.bigvalleyjamboree.com/) is just a little after Cheyenne Frontier Days (http://www.cfdrodeo.com/) which I'll be at this year. Maybe next year I can make it out there to Camrose! :dude
