...we lost another icon today. Not an artist, but a friend and supporter to many of them. Dick Clark passed away today at age 82.

I'm an old Philadelphian, so Dick was always there - I even remember seeing my older cousins on the show when it was broadcast live. We all were introduced to a lot of music, via Dick, that's for sure. Great memories.

Philly's in mourning for one of her beloved sons....it's the headline story on all the TV stations here. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy....not a smart-a**.
