I've only ever played the Tiny Terror which sounded pretty cool. They seem to have a good name and certainly have some cool aesthetics.

The most important thing with an amp (or anything else) is that YOU love how it sounds, and you sure seem to, so Id say go ahead and grab one and let us know how it goes.

The grammar nerd in me does suggest you try a little spell check before asking them for an endorsement though :)

Wouldn't that actually be a spelling pedant? :poke

I'm just messing with you -- I'm the same way.

Nice. That's the first time I've heard the phrase "spelling pedant". I had to go look it up :)

Orange amps are much better than they used to be. Unlike spelling :D

Why??? For screaming solo's, of course.

Can't say that I'm a fan of Orange amps. Played one in a music store once. It didn't sound good, no matter where I turned the knobs. I did play on an Orange crush once that sounded pretty darn good for a practice amp.

I liked the sounds from a little head in GC last time I was there. I think it was the tiny terror. I also like the sound this guy is getting:

He doubled the guitar apparently for recording, but the base sound is good to my ears. I also like how this guy insists on full chords and not power chords for Ramones covers.

I was actually gonna get one at a local music store here yesterday, a Crush 35LDX (???). Took my PRS and plugged it in. It was really bassy, and flappy (if thats a musical term). Wasn't too impressed, didn't get it. Really looking into the Dark Terror though.

The OR50H is pretty cool, based on a the original 'legend': http://en.audiofanzine.com/guitar-amp-head/orange-amps/or-series-or50h-reissue/editorial/reviews/back-to-the-future.html

I like my Orange Micro Crush, the mid-size one here in my wall-sound of practice/recording amps:
