I'd say this is kind of a "beginner" lesson except for the fact that I get new adult students on a regular basis who can't play single note lines in time but have played guitar for years so I figured I would try a little different attack on the subject.

All we are focusing on is alternate picking a C major scale in time with eighth note, triplet and sixteenth note subdivisions. If you haven't spent too much time on time and rhythm concepts you might find the follow lessons handy although you can do this lesson without them:

Rhythm Exercises #1 http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/content.php?281-Rhythm-Exercises-1

I hate to admit that I fall somewhat into that category. Thanks for the lessons and exercises. I think all of us can come back to and work on these things.

You got that right. Nothing here is difficult, but I was surprised how sloppy I was at it. Maybe I should try a pick.

Great stuff to work with, Mark!
