Rock/funk/fusion fans, THIS is the album you want!
Spectacular playing and production on this 2-disc live set from the Bombastic Meatbats.
I just received a copy, and it smokes.
Bass player Kevin Chown told me that he and he fellow "bats" think this is their finest work yet.
This is one of my favorite groups, and I wish they'd tour a little more. But they all have tons of individual commitments and other projects.
Rock Hall of Famer Chad Smith really gets his groove on...Kevin Chown's Bass lines are thick & punchy, Ed Roth's keyboard work is super funky. And Jeff Kollman's guitar playing is always amazing.
Knowing how hard Chad hits the skins, that little room (Baked Potato) must have been LOUD!
