Steve Earle in Camrose

Just saw Steve Earle in our little town. Way cool! I also enjoyed his talks between the songs. Alberta is known as "Little Texas". Still, he spoke about the "black stuff underneath our feet" and the problems related with that, about why he thinks Canada is great (he said "don't be like your neighbor south of the border..."), etc. He seems like a free spirit, and he had the crowd singing along and got some major mojo happening, even though he had a cold and no band to back him up.
