I'll listen to the clip when I get home after I get myself the 5 string I want. A fretless is next on my list for sure find my inner Jaco & Ron Carter!

Cool! I've always loved the sound of a fretless.
Too bad my fingers would take forever to become intonated.

This whole recording is quite a departure for me with the exception of using a fretless bass.

I'm usually more of a groove/funky player, but I felt like a driving rock rhythm that day.

Also, I typically don't use distortion. I was having some fun with my new bass amp, an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500, which can do distortion. So, I figured what the heck?
