A must-see documentary about the not so famous until later session musicians behind a huge number of 60's recordings, from The Beach Boys to Sinatra.

The list of guitar players alone should get your attention:
Glen Campbell, Barney Kessel, Tommy Tedesco, Al Casey, Carol Kaye, Billy Strange, Rene Hall, Don Peake, Howard Roberts, James Burton, Jerry Cole, Bill Aken, Mike Deasy, Doug Bartenfeld, Ray Pohlman, Bill Pitman, Irv Rubins, Louie Shelton

I think that just the Carol Kaye parts alone make this documentary worth watching. You get to really appreciate how she created new bass lines that no one else thought of.

Reminds me a lot of "Standing in the shadows of Motown" quite a similar story, too bad that those guys didn't get the credit that was due to them
