NWBasser has noticed geological "stuff" (scientific term) in photos Spud and I have posted. I thought he might be interested in this. I know I am.

Dang man, that's freakin' cool!:AOK
I'm gonna have to get one for my jam room.
That is really awesome. We don't have a state geo map that good - yet.

I'm going to have to get one of those too.
Idaho is pretty cool geologically. I'm amazed every time I go into the back country. I found this fossil at about 11,000 feet a couple of weeks ago.

Check out how these sedimentary layers have been squashed and then turned 90 degrees.

very very cool. envy you that access. I was home two weeks ago, New Hampshire. Took my folks up the mountains, Franconia Notch, where Dad brought me repeatedly as a kid. I was very quiet. Just stunned by the beauty and asking myself why the heck I live in Chicago.
I'm often jealous of you two(SVL, Spud) and the photos you often share. count your blessings.
That's a way cool map, and unique to Idaho at this point, it seems
