I traded in the A&L dread, mostly because it was harder to play than I liked, even though it sounds really nice.

Wait for it... http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/images/smilies/cop.gif

Baby's got back, and a rounded one at that...

That's right, a GS Mini with a sitka solid spruce top and ebony fingerboard!
This is one of those guitars that says, "Yes, I'm the one" as soon as I played it. Everything about it just feels and sounds great, and the short scale plays like an electric stick of buttah.

Sweet Doug!!! Looks like a nice guitar! is that a baby jumbo or something? seems an exaggerated hourglass, but hard to tell size. And what's with the volute area? Sapele or 'hog?

And dare i say ...woo hoo! Gonna be a good winter at your house!

Nicely done.

Thanks.
It is parlor sized with a shorter scale. The sides and back are Sapele.

I'm amazed just how beautifully toned and loud they managed to make this little guitar. It must be the bracing plus the arched back. I've never had an acoustic that is this easy to play, either.

Congrats on the new axe. I have a Taylor 310 that is the sweetest playing guitar I own, acoustic or electric. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours for years.

Oooo, I missed this. Very nice guitar. I have a Taylor dealer close by and have really enjoyed sampling various models. Unfortunately, my wallet starts trembling when I get even the slightest thought that one of them should go home with me. I hope you got a good one.
