Hey out there,

Okay, to be honest, I am currently a little through with all this digital stuff. Anyway, I know that the felxibility of my Line6 Flextone and similar amps is unbeatable. So I came accross this company called Atomic Amps. I have heard of them before, but forget about them. Now I thought it could be interesting to combine a POD with such an Amp. (They offer a tube amp, where you can install a modelder )

First I heard the soundclips on myspace:
www.myspace.com/atomicamps

Sounded horrible to my ears.

Then this morning I took some 30 Minutes to play the atomic 1x12 at my local dealer who has this piece of amp and never found a buyer.

I gave it a fair chance, but the sound shocked me. It sounded so bad, although everything was perfectly installed. No tube sound, the sound sounded like behind a curtain, not fresh at all.

To me this was just another prove that not every hype has a substance!
