Hi all,

I finally got myself a decent guitar (LTD) and effects (BOSS ME-70).
I've been looking for an amp for around $300 (used) that has enough power to keep up with a drum kit, with good clean tone.

What do you all think of this amp?

Thanks in advance.

You might want to try to find one of these. They are being closed out at great prices and the used prices are very decent. Awesome hybrid amps, 100 tube watts, four EL34 power tubes and two Celestion speakers. Sounds good at easily adjustable low volume as well.

Possibly a little more that you were hoping to spend, but probably worth it according to the reviews.

This should be rated a lot higher than the Marshall "MG" series, which have taken quite a bit of heat. I wouldn't get the MG personally, but there are a lot of people that like them.

Look into a Crate Class A tube Palomino v32. Great amp. You don't need more whats than that. And it is all tube. Good stuff I got mine for $325. I normally dislike Crate products specifically their amps but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Good luck man.
