After finally finishing the living room floor and paint, I moved all of my gear into a vacant corner. The Rock Solid stand is new and works out perfectly. It was a great purchase that is well engineered and easy enough for even a guitarist to build.
A new 1x12 cab for the Super Champ X2 is out for delivery today. I'm putting in a WGS Reaper in it from Otaypanky (Bob of Brookwood Leather).

The cab arrived so I installed the Reaper. The cab is from a shop in ebay, jncabinets, and the quality is excellent.
I plugged the speaker into a radio in the garage for a few days to help break it in.

I think I'll leave the partial back open for now.

It sounds really nice when driven from the various amp models of the Super Champ, and wonderful using the amp's Champ channel.

Nice room. I really like that cabinet. Having it flexible like that is they way they all should be in my opinion. Best of both worlds whenever you want/need it.

Tig......everything looks great. Have fun with it.

Hey, I noticed an Egnater head in one pic. Which one is it? How do you like it? Pros/cons?

Dammit... I had that exact same Club King. Yes, black with the cream soap bars. Totally regret flipping that one. My life hit a rough patch and I cleaned house, sold everything in a clichéd attempt at "starting over." :thwap

I will own another CK290 again. Some day. Some day. And it has to be gloss black, tortoise, rosewood with cream soaps.

...

Did Joe Naylor ever ship those with his locking tuners or just with the Wilki EZ-locks?

P.S. I once owned a gold Pro Jet (stolen) and I currently own a Hell No.2 -- you have great taste, my man!

Sad loss, Dave. The Club King is my never sell guitar, unless I absolutely have to. This is my favorite combo for it as well, although the new maple Stu Baker version looks tasty.

This one has the original Wilkinson tuners. It remains my most stable tuned guitar.
I bought the guitar used on eBay. It wasn't yours, was it? :notme

Thanks, all. I'm in good shape with very little GAS for guitars these days. Maybe a semi-hollow with humbuckers some day.

I just ordered a simple yet luscious tremolo...

Bosstastic! After moving out of my office, all my amps are out in the garage, and the guitars are spread out all over the house. :(

Nice looking.....um, well, yeah. EVERYTHING. Not a single item I wouldn't be proud to own (or tempted to steal).

On that rack, it looks like you've got it filled per design, in other words, really only room for one acoustic if you want to use all six spots. Is that the case, or just how you set it up? Wouldn't be an issue though, in Chicago, acoustics are best kept in the case most of the year, even with a whole house humidifier.

As for a semi, I know you sold off the Washie you had, but the HB-35 makes for a great 335 type axe, and they're plentiful on craigslist in my experience. You may get lucky if you keep your eyes peeled.

Enjoy the new digs, Tig.

The rack holds 6 maximum, so the first slot can handle an acoustic or electric.
