Sweet! I really do want a good budget Strat in my arsenal and if I didn't just have to buy a new car I wood be all over that. I looked at a nice weathered blue strat here locally for $299. Played on it at the music store. Went to run some errands while I made up my mind to buy it. Went back to the store 1 hour later and it was long gone. Come to find out a man at the store had been watching me play it and as soon as I left he bought it. Kudos to him.

I swear that happened to me on a sweet white Paula 25th or 35th anniversary. Played it and hesitated on it because of a typical neck break got in car went home called store to put on hold until next day and it had been bought less than a half hour after I left!!

That would be sweet Robert! Then you could play on it awhile after which you would sell it to me. Then I would play it awhile and pass it on to tig who would play it awhile and pass it to Eric. Wait we are still talking about the Strat right?

p.s.... don't forget to give Spudman a turn and duhvoodooman since he found it first!

Oh yeah... I didn't forget about that beauty! I guess if I really thought I would play it I would have bought one already. I'm so stuck on my maple necked Peavey T-60. But I really would like to toy around with an HSS strat. Toy being the operative word. I just cannot justify it right now. Especially with this one beckoning me. I know its not much but there is something about it.
