This is a cool, easy-to-make tool that Stew-Mac offers. So easy to make,
that there is really no need to spend your hard earned bucks for them. And
be honest, who hasn't needed something like this at one time or another?

I made mine out of some thick coat-hanger and shrink tubing. See what
you can come up with....:french

Your right. Those are cool if or when you might ever need them. Not sure I would ever want to polish a fret on the fly. But I could see it if I had completed the fret work and restrung the guitar only to realize I missed a spot. Still a couple of pencils under the strings works as well and you won't scrape the edge of fretboard with the strings.

Woah, what a downer! I was just passing along a cool idea.....not trying to change the world. You're not required to use these, or anything like them.

Wow... Sorry! I was just agreeing with you and giving you an alternative. Wasn't that what you were saying in the first place. Wasn't trying to be all serious. Just adding a tip of my own for doing the same thing.
