She is 9, and she composed this piece. She's been taking piano lesson for about a year now.

She even let me set in on it! :)

One year of lessons and she's already composing? Wow! :bravo:

I am impressed how you and she were able to stay relatively in time with each other. That has always been hard for me when I have tried to play with my kids, especially as they have been learning. I have not played music with my kids in a while. I have to try it again. My daughter Anneka, who is about the same age as your daughter, is also playing piano, and would like to try learning guitar some more. We attempted some before, but she got frustrated trying to fret notes, though she tried valiantly. She is a little bigger now and we will try again this spring/summer.

Thanks guys yeah I am so impressed and proud!

She said she wants to play in my band when she grows up.
