I am sitting here watching Los Lonely Boys on Austin City Limits. Lots of groovey stratofantastic fun going on with some equally fun bass. Austin City Limits is one of my favorite shows. Kat, do you ever get to go?

The closest I've ever been to ACL is watching on my TV at home. The studio is pretty small, and it is difficult to get in. KLRU is building a bigger auditorium, though, which should be open in '08, I think. I'd love to go. There's been a ton of good acts play on that stage.

I have been, however, to the legendary Antone's before the location moved, and saw an incredible blues band play there... Anybody who loves the blues and guitar should go if in Austin.

I imagine a clip or two will end up on YouTube... IMO, the best episodes of ACL that I've seen have been SRV, Buddy Guy, and Stanley Jordan, the 10 finger tapping guy. He did a version of "Stairway to Heaven" that was awesome.
