I was hoping this story would turn out to be hoax. Sadly it's not.

Actor James Gandolfini, whom most know from his most famous role as Tony Soprano, has passed at the age of 51.

This part of HBO's statement says plenty about the man:
"He was special man, a great talent, but more importantly a gentle and loving person who treated everyone no matter their title or position with equal respect..."

We grew up in the same area of the same county of NJ, both of us are Rutgers alumni, both guineas...all that in common plus he became one of my favorite actors how could I not have liked this guy?! I am not typically saddened by news of people I don't know but this really bummed me out. RIP. He was a REALLY good actor.
