"Poppy" has always been the kids' pet name for Shiner.

BG asked me a year ago what I wanted to be called. Kinda floored me; had never thought about it.

Didn't feel like any of the conventional names fit... Made up a non-conventional "short list".

She liked "cookie" and there you go. :)
