I am keeping an eye on the Tour from the web (no tv here).
Scanning for upcoming stages (including Annecy, where I went to school), I discovered that on Sunday July 21st, the last stage will start from Versailles, and actually run through the palace gardens..!
I was there a few weeks ago, and I can say it should be a visual treat: no still photo can render how big the gardens actually are...
(stats from Wikipedia: over 1900 acres, 200,000 trees, 50 fountains, etc. Water supply is a problem in the summer!)
(NBC Sports in the US market, I think?)
