....and free shipping. Normally $300. Looks to be a 1-day deal. THD circuit design. Can run any of the common octal power tube types without re-biasing (it's cathode biased). I checked out the reviews--lots of positive ones, and the low marks were mostly for either the cheap stock Chinese tubes or for the fact that it doesn't have much headroom. But if you have a stock of tubes on hand (check) and have clean tones covered by other means (check-check-check), this looks like a wonderful value, and a fun little amp to play around with. I ordered one. Maybe you should, too!

I too thought hard about it, but it's really got little headroom for clean. However, it does sound really good for what it does and seems very well made and thought out.

I could be a collector of cute little amps and started to when the little bookshelf amps were popular. Thankfully I burnt out quickly on them. I have my Vox mini3 and my Crate V5 and I don't use either one much. I could be suckered into a Zvex-a-like with built in speaker though. Geesh.... :thwap
