This new to me group released their second album, Dark Of The Daylight (http://www.amazon.com/Dark-The-Daylight-digital-booklet/dp/B00D8KRYCG/ref=tmm_other_meta_binding_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1383746353&sr=1-2), a few months ago. While they don't fit neatly into any specific genre, most people label them as pop rock or alt rock. They certainly have a gift for creating catchy hooks. The song structures are refreshing and at times complex. A few of their songs have a touch of progressive rock to my ears. The vocals are really dynamic and fairly high.

So here's the catch... They are a 3 piece band consisting of keyboards, bass, and drums, but no guitar. Huh? The thing is, they manage to sound really good despite the lack of 6 strings thanks to well produced tracks and an excellent bass player. I swear I can hear a guitar, but the distorted bass tracks must be fooling me.
