Nice idea. Although I think I can use my HD500 in the same way, and it also sounds good.

Sounds like a pretty nice set-up for a traveling musician who mainly relies on a provided amp.

Quite a convincing demo but would you go straight to the PA with such a device and relies only on the monitors ?

Probably direct into the PA, and also into whatever back line amp was provided.
