We’ll gather ‘round yer ship
Wherever she roams
And shiver her timbers
and rattle ye bones
'till you’ll beg fer the plank
‘cause ye ain’t going home
Yer flag to you’s
not forsaken
But before ye think twice
She’ll have a cannonball hole
Yer booty’s there fer the takin’

Well that's how it started. I was walking around the house singin' Dylan & without thinking I was soon singin' it with a pirate accent. The line Shiver ye timers & rattle ye bones had me cracking up, so I went with it.

By the way I avoided the line "sink like a stone" because it was too easy.

Thank for the indulgence everyone! :D

I absolutely love it! Tot, set it to a sea ditty. What Dylan tune were you singing when you slipped into the pirate accent?

My guess would be "Lay, Lady, Lay" :)

I'd love to do that, but there are several problems.

1) I can't sing (but maybe pirates can't either)

2) I don't have a microphone

Someday, I will remedy #2, #1 is a different story however.

I still can't see Bob Dylan with a pirate voice.
