The lowly Boise State University footbal takes down Oklahoma. They finish the season 13-0. Ohio State, contender for national champion, cannot get to 13-0 mathmatically. Boise State is on the outside, looking in. I am a Universtiy of Washington Husky. The Huskies faced a similar situation in the mid-90s. Time for a true playoff system? I realize the big money is in the traditional bowl games and that some might not like a playoff system taking away attention from traditional rivalries. What do you guys think?

I still think OSU would stomp Boise St. but I am WAY ticked off at myself that I didn't watch the end of that game. A hook and ladder and then a, gasp, Statue of Liberty play to win it?!? Too cool!

Sadly my Wolverines did their usual "lay down and die" trick at the Rose Bowl.

It was a fun game! Big deal way out here in Idaho. Yep, OSU might very well stomp them. But we will never know. Sorry (sort of) about your Wolverines. :p I am no USC fan, but I am from the Pac-10 however.
