Here's a video I recently shot where I demonstrate some tones that I get from my Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special amp. I'm REALLY digging this amp!

Check out the video description for a link to the specs.

I just put the camera mic in front of the amp, no EQ or editing, so you're hearing what I heard in the room, albeit through the camera mic:

Very nice sounds and a great way to demo an amp. Before I bought my Two Rock I played a used Lone Star 2x12, not the special version. It had a beautiful sound but I was overwhelmed by the versatility and the fact that I might never need OD pedals again - man I would miss my G.A.S., lol! Just kidding of course, the reason I didn't buy it was that it was really very heavy. I like the warm lead sound you get out of it, but feel that the Hendrixian part you play cleanly could have little more hair. How does the amp take pedals? Your Anderson is HB equipped if I saw correctly, I remember that this amp sounded better with HBs. When I played it I had my 57 Goldtop with me and the sound melange was breathtaking. Thanks for putting up the best demo of this quality amplifier.

Thanks - Two Rock amps are awesome!

I can get a pretty decent Hendrix type clean sound from the amp using single coil pickups but as I was using the Anderson I agree with you that the humbuckers definitely sound better for lead than clean rhythm.
Check out the clean rhythm tones on this track, I used my Suhr with single coil ML pickups through the Lonestar Special:

I've been using my Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe with the amp for some extra sustain and it takes that pedal really well.

Cheers.

Thanks, yes they are really awesome these Two Rocks. Got their very own thing going and rewarding the player with colorful sounds. I've listened to two of the tracks and I mus say you have some good composing going on. The sound is very transparent and woody, just the way we all like it. I think it's always beautiful when you still here the instrument, like in your clips.
