NEW Loaded Strat Pickguard - Texas Special Pickups

Here is a brand new (still has the protective plastic on it!) loaded pickguard taken from a 2015 Deluxe Roadhouse Strat, in aged white pearloid. The pickups are a set of Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials. The only change from the original configuration is that the S-1 switch and mid-boost preamp were removed and replaced with the control set (high quality CTS pots!) from an American Standard Strat. With this change, you don't have to worry about your Strat-style body having a 9V battery box....or trying to add one. It's all wired up and ready to go--just connect your output jack leads and the ground wires for the bridge/trem claw and control cavity and you're ready to rock!

Texas Special pickups are a bit hotter than vintage-style Strat pickups (measured DC resistance values of 7.16K ( B), 6.99K (M), and 6.66K (N) for this set) but still retain that classic Strat clarity & character. The middle pickup is RWRP, for hum cancellation at the 2 & 4 selector switch positions. Perfect pickups for classic rock and blues, especially if you want to get your "inner Stevie Ray" on!

The Texas Special pickup set for Strats generally sells for $200, but here's your chance to grab a set for less than half of that. And they're already mounted in a great looking pickguard with top-shelf electronic components. Let me emphasize again--these are brand new pickups in a brand new pickguard!

+1! Now I wish that I still had my cv strat, this would have been just the fix for it.

I'm thinking....ugh, hmmm, maybe, I dunno, well, argh, sheesh, oh, hmmm. I really like these in my Roadhouse Strat and have been considering trying them in my CV 50s Strat. Hmmm.
