Here's some fresh stuff from last week. Lots of nice material - you can always skip to the solos of course ;-)

GREAT stuff Jimi. Thanks for sharing that. HUGE stage (by Chicago Bar standards) what was the venue.

What are you playing your SG through?

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Looks like just you and the singer are continuing the band. Are the guys in the most current video now the regular lineup?

What are you playing your SG through?

Looks like a Two Rock combo...and a ton of finger tip mojo.

Thanks for your great feedbacks.

Yeah new drummer - bass player was a sidekick, the regular guy was on a business trip.
The pick is a 2,6mm Chicken Pick - huge and great :-)

Set up:
Two Rock Studio Pro 35
Cry Baby mini
Vemuram Jan Ray
Caline Orange Burst
Derek Trucks SG
50s Tribute Les Paul

A 2.6mm Chicken Pick, huh? When I first saw it in your hand, it reminded me of those big picks Carlos Santana used.

Check them out here:

They make a big difference in tone and feel.
Plus they last "forever" - been playing mine for a year now ;-)

Jimi - which model Chickenpick do you like best? Have you tried V Picks and if so is the material similar?

Yes, I have tried the V Picks too and they are also great. The Chickens feel different, very organic.
I play the Regular 2,6mm.

^Thanks! It's a very nice guitar, light enough to play it the whole evening long :-)
Still the guitar invites me to play "new" stuff, which is good.
