Recently I asked David Barfuss (a guy from Germany) to make me a custom set for my "Blackie" partscaster.
I was looking for a John Mayer type of sound.
So I sent him some videos from YouTube and asked him if he could make me such a set.

The result was VERY VERY good!

Here is a link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130052453456)for the custom set that he made me.

You can hear the clip here (http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=472774)(choose the first one)

Keep in mind that:
1) My playing sucks...:o:o
2) The strings were already dead when i recorded it

I used my Fender Pro Jr and a SM57 mike. The reverb and delay was added later on my PC.

Those sound really great. So does your playing. Thanks for the tip about the pickups.

You should consider playing on some of our backing tracks.

Hey E I think you might have gained a little insight by reading my thread (http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php?t=302) first and not have apologized for your tasteful playing AND sound here. :) Nice clip and great sounding pickups.
